Science Alive! will run from 9am-5pm on 24-26 May 2019 at the GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.
WHERE IS SCIENCE ALIVE HELD?
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Carparking is available at the GMHBA Stadium and in the surrounding Kardina Park area. Please note, some car parks are closed in inclement weather.
DO I NEED TO BUY TICKETS FOR THE NAVAL GROUP THEATRE SHOWS?
No, all performances within Science Alive! are included in the price of your entry ticket. You don’t need to book ahead.
HOW CAN SCHOOLS GET INVOLVED?
Science Alive! holds a preview event at the GMHBA Stadium for schools, aimed at students from years 7-10. If your school is interested in attending, please see our STEM Day Out page for details.
CAN I ATTEND THE SCIENCE ALIVE STEM DAY OUT EVEN IF I AM NOT IN YEARS 7-10?
Unfortunately, no, the Stem Day Out is soley for high school students. For students below year 7, we would encourage you to attend on the weekend.
WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT?
There will be food and drinks available at the GMHBA Stadium for purchase from the outlets on Concourse Level 1. They will have food suitable for many dietary requirements (including vegetarian options and nut, dairy, and gluten intollerances), but if you have any questions please contact the GMHBA Stadium's caterers on (03) 9426 9600.
IS THERE A PARENT’S ROOM I WILL BE ABLE TO USE DURING SCIENCE ALIVE?
There are parenting rooms in the GMHBA Stadium, located on Level 1 of the Concourse. If you need any assistance, please ask at the Information Booth.
CAN I BRING MY PET TO SCIENCE ALIVE?
Sorry, only hearing and seeing guide dogs and animals that are approved as part of the event are permitted within the event.

DO PEOPLE WITH COMPANION CARDS RECEIVE DISCOUNTED ENTRY?
Yes, those with Companion Cards will receive free entry.
IS THERE DISABLED PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes - the dedicated disabled parking area is located at the northern end of the ground behind the Gary Ablett Terrace, within Kardinia Park on Moorabool St, in front of Sports House A3 car park, in front of the Premiership Stand Park Cres, and in front of Kardinia Aquatic Centre.
